Applications are invited from the citizen of India for appointment to the post of                         ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CINEMATOGRAPHY in Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata as per following:

1.       Scale of Pay: Rs10,000 -325-15,200/- plus other allowances as admissible as per Govt. of India Rules

2.       Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. However, relaxation can be given to the deserving candidates in terms of qualifications, experience in the related field.

3.       Category- Unreserved.

4.       Educational and other qualification required.

1.                                                                      ESSENTIAL

i)    Degree of a recognised University.

a.                                                                                              Degree or Diploma of equivalent in Motion Picture Photography or Cinematography from a recognised University or Institute.

b.                                                                                              At least 4 (four) years’ professional experience including teaching of Motion Picture Photography in an organization or Institution of repute.

OR

iv)   Master Degree of a recognised University

v)       At least six years’ professional experience including teaching of Motion Picture Photography in an organization or Institution of repute.

OR

vi)  Degree of recognised University or equivalent.

vii)  At least 8 (eight) years’ professional experience including teaching of Motion Picture Photography in an organization or Institution of repute.

 

2.                                                                      DESIRABLE

 

                          Good Knowledge of Film & TV medium in India and abroad.
